I think this was a cool place, though pretty touristy. You can sit with your toes in the sand and a mildly decent margarita. The area is dog friendly, so lots of people bring their fur babies to eat and relax. It’s a touristy place so it is clean with a nice bathroom and a pretty cool interior, but you pay higher prices because it is right beside a big RV park with lots of gringos. There’s a cool pier you can walk down to fish on. It is very family friendly as well. The food was not very good. I got the chilaquiles and my dad got the “hangover special” but everything was mediocre and lacking in flavor. The Bloody Mary was okay.
Juan Luis is a great server. The restaurant is right on the beach. The walls are covered in song lyrics and it is fun trying to figure out what songs they go to. Unfortunately the food is pretty overpriced and not very good. My po boy was dry and bland. My husband's tacos were dry. My kids' chicken tenders were dry and strangely shaped so my kids wouldn't touch them.
I visited this place based on the recommendations I received from my friends. My rating is purely for the ambience and the location, One of the best place to hangout with friends for some cocktails and enjoy live music with some gorgeous views of the sandy beach. I went with my family, the food had no taste to it (no salt or pepper) except the onion rings, had to wait an hour for the food to arrive. If visiting with kids, make sure you have the reservation made in advance since this place gets crowded very fast. Overall, I would recommend this place only for the ambience but not for their food 😔
Been waiting for three years to get back here. The best Mexican shrimp cocktail we have ever found, and it did not disappoint this trip. We ate on beach, band was good and a sun was out. Too bad we only got one cervesa. We ordered a second but it never came. We finally had to go find our server so we could go. I think service would have been better if they were not so busy. I bought a shirt on the way out.

Love listening to live music and just hanging out here. Guacamole is so fresh and mostly avocado and tasted great with their salsa. Chips are gluten free. Tacos could use some cheese. Beans and rice weren't great this time either. I don't remember having a problem with beans and rice other times I have been here. Great place to go in a group. Bring cash for a 10% discount on your bill, and for the tip.

We did not eat here. However, we do plan to return and dine outdoors, weather permitting. While visiting the area we went to the restaurant twice and had drinks. The outside decks are very nice. It is an American style sports bar. So if you are looking for something more authentic this might not be the place for you. With that being said the views are spectacular.
